This family batch was absolutely mind-blowing with endless space to accommodate a large crew. We were blown away by the warmth and coziness of the accommodation, perfectly located just a short walk from the Doubtful Sound cruise jetty. Communication with the owners was super smooth, and we loved the personalized touches like the photo album showcasing the rich history of the batch. Easy parking and an amazing takeaway spot nearby. Keys were hassle-free, and we had a blast playing board games. The views from the top deck lounge were jaw-dropping, with snow-capped mountains in sight. The house was impeccably maintained and cleanliness was top priority. Located in a tranquil area, it was a breeze to access nearby attractions like Pearl Harbour and Fraser beach. It truly felt like a home away from home.

The location couldn't have been better for our Easter getaway. We were just a short walk away from the departure point for our Doubtful Sound cruise, which made it really convenient for us. Additionally, the house had stunning views from the top deck lounge, where we could see snow on the mountains. It was such a peaceful and calming sight. Furthermore, the house was well-maintained and clean, with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay.

Although the house was well-appointed, some of the furniture and carpets could do with updating. It was still comfortable, but a fresher look would have made it even better.

The value for money at Glendale River View was really good. The room was comfortable and full of character, with fine views of the mountains. The location was perfect for the Doubtful Sound tour, just a short walk away from the jetty. The staff provided excellent hospitality, even offering us an extra night due to road closures.

The breakfast menu could have had more variety and options.

This house has loads of space with stunning views of the river. It's near the Doubtful Sound starting point, making it convenient for activities. the property is well-equipped and has a welcoming, family feel. the locals in the shop and pub are friendly.

I had a fantastic stay at this river view/fishing enthusiast home. The location was excellent, with the ferry for Doubtful Sound just a short walk away. The house was clean and well equipped, with a well-appointed kitchen and comfortable beds. The views outside were fantastic, and the decor added a quirky and nostalgic touch. I also appreciated the addition of books and toys for kids, as well as kitchen essentials like salt, pepper, and cooking oil.

Stunning Garden View and Free WiFi: The highlight of my stay was waking up to the picturesque garden views every morning. It felt like I was living in a fairytale! Plus, the free WiFi kept me connected to the outside world, even in this tranquil paradise.

Challenging Stairs: The stairs! While the overall stay was enjoyable, the only inconvenience was the steep and narrow stairs.

Just returned from a wonderful stay at Glendale River View in Manapouri. We stayed for three nights and enjoyed the modern shower, washing machine, and dryer. The beautiful garden with its fantastic river view was a bonus. The holiday house was cosy and well-furnished with a full kitchenette and BBQ facilities. It was conveniently located, just a two-minute walk from the Real Journeys departure point for overnight cruises. The house was spacious, well-equipped, and felt like a home away from home. We had everything we needed, even insect repellent, and the views from every angle were amazing. We would stay here again without hesitation.

With three kids under 12 in tow, our stay at Glendale River View was a real treat. The house was spacious and had all the essentials we needed. The location was perfect, just a short 5-minute walk to the jetty for our Doubtful Sound cruise. The kids loved playing on the beautiful lakeside beach nearby, and we enjoyed some delicious fish and chips at The Church restaurant. The stunning mountain views were the perfect backdrop for our family adventure.

For dads, it would be great to have a small playground on the property.

The views from the property were insane, like Instagram-worthy, you know? And it was super close to the starting point for the Doubtful Sound cruise, only like 2 minutes away. Plus, there was this sick lakeside beach where we could chill and go for a swim. And let's not forget about the friendly people at the local shop and pub, they made us feel totally welcome.

If there was one thing that could've made our stay even better, it would've been some more epic party vibes. Don't get me wrong, the place was amazing, but it would've been awesome to have some cool places nearby to hang out and have a wild time with friends.

I keep coming back because it's great. They even helped me with water at night. Wi-Fi, parking, TV, VIP check-in, activities, and more. Love the peaceful outdoor area. Can't wait to return for Easter!
